Sierra Leone International Ship Registry has been appointed by the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration to perform ship registration activities vested upon the Sierra Leone Merchant Shipping Act of 2003 as a Registrar of Ships as well as Registrar of Seamen, with effect from April 18, 2005.
